Samsung Galaxy S5 to go official this month, but no Iris Scanner

According to The New York Times,Samsung is planning to announce its new smartphone, Galaxy S5 at an event later this month. he unveiling will reportedly come during Samsung's Unpacked event on February 24th, which is being held at the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona.



Despite rumors that the Galaxy S5 could include an iris scanner or a quad-HD display, the Times reports that neither will find their way into this next Galaxy smartphone. Instead, Samsung is expected to include more modest changes, including a better camera, a better processor, and some alterations to its design.

Samsung is yet to announce that, but there are lots of hope that Samsung might unveil its at Unpacked event along with the new Galaxy Gear 2 smartwatch.
