  2. The ROM files have to be downloaded.

  3. These ROM files then have to be transferred to the root of your smartphone’s SD card.

  4. Open the ROM manager, if you do not have it, download and extract files on the root of SD card. Turn your device off, and restart it by pressing the power button and volume controls buttons. If you are flashing custom ROM for the first time, you are suggested to use ROM manager, as you can directly choose to reboot in recovery, from there.

  5. When your device is rebooted in recovery mode, you can use volume keys to navigate through the options, and power button as OK.

  6. You should have made a back up of all your data. Go to Restore and select back up.

  7. After making a back up, select wipe data/ factory reset, and then delete all the data.

  8. When the data is deleted, go to option “apply zip from SD card”, and select the ROM you want to install on your Android device.

  9. After the installation is completed, select “reboot” from the root menu.
