Samsung might soon start seeding the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S II Plus. What's more an official (if probably not final) ROM has been leaked and if you are really impatient you can flash it right now.

Although, the final changelog list is not official yet, an XDA Developers forum post states that the firmware will be available Over-The -Air (OTA) for users, starting with Germany. where those living in Germany will be able to enjoy it OTA (Over The Air), with other selected countries to follow afterwards.
Anyway, if you have the Galaxy S II Plus, be sure to connect your phone to your computer and fire up Kies to check for the update. The update should soon be hitting other countries.
Have any of you received the update on your Galaxy S II Plus yet?

I'll wait for the changelog or feedback at least. sometimes, updates does not improve the performance. I'm good with 4.1.
ReplyDeleteFor a new out of the box Samsung S2 or S2G one might care about this release, but for those of us who have had S2s for some time, not so much. CM 10, Revolt JB, Slim JB, Paranoid JB and others already gave us JB 4.2.2 roms.

ReplyDeleteBC, S3 walon se pehle S2 . Damn you ... S2 updated before the flagship S3. We have been waiting for an eternity for this update. Surely, i will think a hundred times before buying myself another Samsung device.
ReplyDeleteI think Gingerbread is still the best Android-version ever, far better at real multitasking and easily plays every flash-movie..., while ICS and then Jelly Bean made everything a lot slower and are loaded with features very few actually use! I recently went back to Gingerbread on my S2, and I will stay on Gingerbread forever! I wish there was a Gingerbread-rom for my S3!
