'Bioshock Infinite Game ' coming to Mac on August 29th. Today it has finally announced an official release date for BioShock Infinite. Thanks to Aspyr, for porting this game. In the past Aspyr has already ported various franchises including Call of Duty, Civilization, and Borderlands to the Mac.
The Mac version of Bioshock Infinite will be available through the Mac App Store, Aspyr's own GameAgent, and Steam. The Steam version offers Steam Play support, meaning that if you buy it on PC, you'll have the Mac version free of charge and vice versa.

SteamPlay is also available for versions of the first-person shooter not purchased through the Mac App Store, granting access to both the Mac and PC version of the game. Also supported is Steam's Season Pass, which gives subscribers access to three planned DLC packs, including Clash in the Clouds and the two-part campaign Burial at Sea.
Apple's Mac platform has in the past been neglected by many game publishers, but that trend is slowly changing thanks to a number of factors, including the introduction of native support for Valve's Steam in 2010. We could also see the release of SimCity this month for Mac.

oh great. am waiting for that game.....
ReplyDeleteI think “For that we have Aspyr to thank, the company that ports the majority of big titles that eventually end up available for OS X” may be doing Feral out of a pretty big chunk of credit.
ReplyDeletegreat game, i played two times and doesnt stop blow your mind
ReplyDeleteI’d buy it to play on PS3, if only this weren’t overpriced [where I live]. And yet it doesn’t seem that it’s going to be so unexpensive for Mac. Anyway, I’ll have to go with it, because I’ve been waiting to play this game since its launch.
ReplyDeleteAny way to play mac games with a controller?
ReplyDeleteYep. Here’s Aspyr’s response: “Yes, BioShock Infinite for Mac supports the Microsoft Xbox 360 wired gamepad as well as the PlayStation 3 Dualshock 3 Wireless Controller.”
